“ Let's keep this short and sweet. It's worth the stop! Had a chicharron & mixed pupusa. Delish! Great size, not skimpy and great taste! Came with my hubby (doesn't speak Spanish) but waitress was able to speak to him and was very friendly. ”

“ Delicious pupusas at a great price! This little restaurant is easy to miss while driving by, but they serve some great authentic Salvadorian food. Their pupusas are some of my favorite in Houston. Their tamales, fried sweet plantains and elote atoll are all also really great to go along with the pupusas. ”

“ I absolutely enjoyed taking my friends here!!! The food and service were amazing. They were so sweet with the child we took making sure he had juice for his meal. AND !!! The perk is they have my favorite treats from back home that most places don't, like Nuegados!! ”

“ My coworkers used to regularly go to this restaurant pre-pandemic. Their pupusas are phenomenal! I've tried the cheese, bean, and loroco (squash flower). Nothing beats their curtido, it tastes really fresh and goes perfectly with the pupusas. The service has always been excellent. We would usually go with the server's recommendations, and tried a lot of different items that way. I'm vegetarian and there was plenty to choose from, plus they're willing to adapt items. For example, we like to get the fried yuca which typically comes with chicharron and a pickled salad on top. They put the chicharron on the side so that I could eat the dish. It can sometimes take a while to get the food from the kitchen, I wouldn't recommend it if you're in a rush. ”

“ I have fond memories of this place when I was younger and we would come often since we lived close to it then. Years later I have returned, expectations were a little high from my childhood memories. I've been to one close to where I live and it is a pretty sad place. I got the beans and cheese pupusas. Not too oily, which is an important factor. Must say the place did not disappoint. The customer service is spot on. I've been back twice recently and both times customer service was great. They only take cash by the way!! Seeing how hard it is to find a decent salvadorian restaurant in Houston, you will not find anything better! ”
